Roses are available as containerised plants, all year, but can be sent bare root between November and January, weather permitting. Postage and packaging is FREE on all orders of bare root roses.

ADELAIDE D'ORLEANS  Ra. (1826) Masses of small rosy pink  buds opening white.  Delicate primrose scent Once flowering but worthy of any garden.  12ft.

ALBERIC BARBIER  1900 Ra.  Creamy white flowers with lemon tints.  Good scent some repeat flowers.  Summer fl. 15ft.

ALCHYMIST 1956 Cl. Large full quartered blooms with a mixture of yellow and yokey orange, single and clustered.  Will thrive in difficult situations.  Summer flowering 12ft+

AIMEE VIBERT 1828 Cl. A Noisette.  Clusters of small double white flowers from red tinted buds.  Glossy green foliage  Fragrant.  Repeat fl. 15ft.

ALISTAIR STELLA GRAY 1891 Tea Cl.  Clusters of well shaped double blooms of yolky yellow opening to cream.  Sweetly scented.  Perpetual flowering.15ft.

AWAKENING Cl. (1935)  This is a sport of New Dawn but with double the amount of petals.  Has all the same attributes, Continuous flowering, fragrance and vigour.  10ft.

BANTRY BAY Cl. 1967.  Beautiful large blooms of deepest rose pink with a delicate fragrance.  Withstands wet weather well, continuous flowering. 12ft

BELVEDERE 1829 Ra.  Trusses of pale pink flowers over long period.  Wonderful fragrance, pliable stems.  Can be used for growing up treees. To 20ft +

BLEU MAGENTA Ra. 1900 Fully double blooms of violet purple fading to grey.  A  multiflora type Glossy green foliage Scented.  Summer flowering 10ft.

BLUSHING LUCY Ra. (1938)  Unusually for a rambler flowers on and off throughout the summer. Large clusters of semi-double light pink flowers.  Glossy foliage, pleasant fragrance. 12ft+

CASINO Cl. 1963.  One of the best yellow climbers. Double, quartered well formed blooms with strong perfume.  Repeats well  with healthy foliage. 12ft.

CECILE BRUNNER Clg. 1904  (Cl) A very vigorous form, bearing pale pink miniature HT flowers Sweetly scented.  Repeat flowering 20ft+

CELINE FORESTIER 1842 Noisette Cl. Large full quartered blooms of pale yellow with green button eye.  Strong Tea fragrance and pale green foliage.  Continuous flowering 10ft.

CLAIRE JACQUIER 1888 (Noisette Cl) Buff yellow double flowers fading to cream.  Good perfume Vigorous growth and few thorns.  Repeat flowering 20ft+

COLUMBIA  Cl. (1916) Glistening bright pink rose, large double flowers.  Very fragrant, repeat flowering, dark foliage 10ft.

CONSTANCE SPRY  1961. Technically a Shrub, but excellent as a pillar rose or trellis. Large globular blooms of clear pink. Heavy fragrance. Good  dark foliage. 8 to 10ft.

CREPUSCULE 1904 (Noisette Cl.) Double blooms of apricot orange Scented with plentiful foliage.  Perpetual flowering 12ft.

CRIMSON GLORY Cl. 1941 Wondeerful red blooms on  stiff branches.  Best against a cool wall where it will not burn.  Strong fragrance.  10ft.

DEBUTANTE Ra. 1904. A wichuriana hybrid of good vigour and disease resistance Rose pink clusters on long canes .  Strong apple fragrance.  Improvement on Dorothy Perkins. 15ft.

DORTMUND 1955 Ra.  Eye catching cvlusters of single red blooms with white eye.  Extremely healthy glossy foliage, repeat flowering 10ft.

DUBLIN BAY Cl. 1975 One of the best red climbers available.  Intense red classic flowers with good fragrance, repeat flowering.  Good disease resistance. 10ft.

EDEN ROSE '88 Cl.  (Pierre de Ronsard)   Cabbage flowers of  creamy white suffused with lavender pink and carmine.  Repeat flowering with a light scent. 10ft+

ENA HARKNESS Cl.  (1954)  Powerfully scented blooms of dark red Repeat flowering. Vigorous . 12ft.

FRANCIS E. LESTER Ra. 1946.  Cluster of single white flowers with pink edges.  Vigorous with healthy foliage  and plentiful orange hips.  Strongly scented.  Summer flowering 18ft.

FRANCOIS JURANVILLE 1906 Ra.  Fully double muddled blooms of rich salmon rose.  Thin pliable growth with dark shiny foliage.  Fragrant.  Summer fl. 20ft.

GHISLAINE de FELIGONDE 1916 Ra.  A virtually thornless multiflora type.  Large clusters of small double orange and yellow blooms. Slight scent.  Healthy light green foliage.  Repeat flowering 10ft.

HUGH DICKSON 1905 Technically a shrub, but can be used as a small climber.  Large double blooms of bright crimson, with strong fragrance and repeating. 8ft.

JASMINA  Cl. Deep pink, old fashioned type double.  Fragrant , repeat flowering 10ft.

LADY HILLINGDON Cl. (1917) Old tea rose.  Very free  contginuous flowering.  Long pointed apricot buds opening yolky yellow.  Lovely scent. Glossy foliage   12ft

LAURA LOUISA  Cl. A pink sport of Leverkusen, Double deep pink flower, vigourous, healthy and repeat flowering and fragrant. 12ft.

LEVERKUSEN Cl. (1954)  Semi double lemon yellow blooms on a very healthy and hardy plant.  Good glossy foliage.  Repeat flowering and scented. 10ft.

MME ALFRED CARRIERE   Cl. (1879) Cupped blooms of creamy white throughout the season.  Light foliage.  Good scent, Suitable  for northerly aspects 12ft.

MME. CAROLINE TESTOUT Cl. (1901) Very large globular blooms of satin pink.  Heady fragrance, repeat flowering. 15ft.

MME. DRIOUT Cl. (1878) Flat and quartered rreddish pink flowers with white flecks.  Some repeat in Autumn..  Scented. 10ft.

MARECHAL NEIL Cl. 1864.  Large double golden yellow flowers, with good scent.  Good for pergola or trellis.  Repeat flowering does well in partial shade.  10ft.

MAY QUEEN Ra. 1898.  Rosy pink trusses of flowers with a hint of lilac.  Early flowering Good fruity fragrance. Very good on pergolas and trellises.  Vigorous and healthy to 15ft.

MEG  Cl. (1954)  Soft salmon apricot flowers with red stamens , single. Foliage dark, glossy and healthy.  Repeat flowering but with good  hips in the Autumn to 12ft.

MRS HONEY DYSON  Ra.  Clusters of pale pink flowers on  vigorous and healthy shoots. Some repeat 12ft.  Fragrant.

NARROW WATERS  Ra. 1883.  Clusters of semi-double soft lilac pink flowers with a good scent.  Vigorous and repeat  flowering. 10ft.

NEW DAWN Cl. 1930 One of the best silvery pink blooms showing singly and in clusters.  Heavily scented. Recurrent flowering with healthy foliage. 10ft.

PARADE Cl.  (1953) A New Dawn seedling.  Deep rich pink full and heavy blooms , repeat flowering good fragrance and healthy. 12ft.

PARKDIREKTOR RIGGERS Cl. 1957.  Bomb proof red climber.  Semi double crimson blooms with golden stamens, vigorous and fragrant.  Repeat flowering 10ft.

PAULS SCARLET Cl. 1916. Magnificent display of bright scarlet flowers. Pliable stems, summer flowering 10ft.

PENNY LANE  Cl.(1998) Repeat flowering blooms of ruffled oldfashioned type, Pearly blush colour deepening to apricot.  Fragrant and continuous flowering.  Supple shoots good for all purposes. 10ft.

PHYLLIS BIDE 1923. Ra.  A shorter remontant type.  Clusters of pink buds fading to primrose/cream.  Light green foliage.  Fragrant.  Repeat flowering 10ft.

ROSA banksia lutea pre 1824 Large coryms of pale yellow tiny blooms each with a green button eye.  They are slightly  scented  on a vigorous thornless stem. Spring flowering to 30ft.+

Occasional stocks held of ROSA BANKSIA BANKSIA, the Double white form.

ROSE MARIE VIAUD Ra. 1924.  A multiflora type.  Dense clusters of amethyst blooms fading to violet and pink.  Almost thornless , scented.  Summer flowering 15ft

SOLDIER BOY Cl. 1953.  Clusters of medium scarlet flowers, single with yellow stamens.  Repeats, scented with healthy foliage.  10ft.

SOMBREUIL Cl. 1850.  Wonderful old tea rose, classic shape with good scent. Repeat flowering 12ft. White fading  pale pink or cream.

SPECTABILIS  Ra. (pre19C) Blooms are small rose pink rosettes with lilac shades  A primrose like scent.  Foliage  is dark and almost evergreen 12ft.

TRIER 1904 Ra.  A shorter rambler bearing clusters of semi-double creamy white blooms., coming from apricot buds.  Highly fragrant.  Repeat flowering 10ft

VEILCHENBLAU Ra. (1909) Vigorous and almost thornless.  Fragrant flowers are violet streaked with white  Once flowering. 15ft.  Good for notherly aspects.

VIOLETTE 1921 Ra.  Clusters of small  semi-double reddish purple blooms fading to greyish mauve.  Virtually thornless.  Summer flowering 12ft.
